mb-n-1-5-pneumatic-bollard-type-tensile-test-grips

Bollard type jaws are suitable for tensile strength tests of a wide range of samples, such as fiber, yarns, filaments, threads, ropes and packing strips. The jaws are designed so that the sample can be wrapped around the bollard and held at one end by means of a manual jaw with rubberized or knurled faces, this helps reduce the breakage of the samples that occur in the jaw itself in another type of jaws and also the load is distributed during the test around the bollard by introducing friction to the sample. Depending on the coefficient of friction, the samples to be tested should take one or more turns around the guide roller.
