  • This device is used to determine the Adhesiveness / Stickiness in Cooked Foods

    The stickiness test device is basically used to measure the stickiness and adhesiveness properties of cooked pasta in the form of sheets.

    It consists of a flat bottom plate with two screws to facilitate the fixation of the test sample with 51 x 26 mm opening that matches the top plate formed by a rectangle of dimensions 50 x 25 mm.

    The upper plate is placed on the load cell and the lower plate on top of the base of the texturometer, the upper plate is lowered by controlling the texturometer through the software so that the plates are aligned in such a way that the upper plate Place in the hollow of the lower plate without friction.

    To do the test, program the upper plate to ascend slightly to place the test sample on the lower avocado. The upper avocado is lowered again and once in contact with the sample, this plate is lowered 5 mm in the test sample.
